My cat Marnie spent a night here as one of her two taster sessions for when I go to Croatia soon. I chose it because of its high ratings and really chose right. To begin with there were checks Marnie had up to date vaccinations. This reassured me she would be in an environment with other healthy, vaccinated cats. Eve was also very kind when I WhatsApped her to advise I'd be arriving later than planned. The reason was I couldn't get Marnie in the carrier despite my efforts at introducing her to it that week. Eve reassured me Marnie wouldn't hate me for putting her in there, either. I planned to stay with Marnie till she was settled but this only ended up being a couple of minutes. She loved exploring the pen and was allowed things from home in there. The pen was very well equipped and spacious with lots of room for roaming and climbing. I know Marnie will have a great time when I'm away and I've been promised photos of how she's doing then, too!

We’ve used a few different kennels over the years, and Slaney Lodge are the best BY FAR. Our dogs always seem well-exercised and very happy upon collection. Great customer service, and great facilities.

Great option for dog owners who need to leave their precious canine behind while they go on holiday. All the staff are great and the dogs get lots of play and stimulation. Total peace of mind every time.

Joules joined our family in February 2020 as a 12 week old Cockapoo puppy. We had researched daycare for her to help with socialisation early in her life. Joules had a free trial day at Slaney Lodge and seemed very happy at the end of it. We received videos of her playing and made a midday phone call to speak to staff about how she was doing. Joules has been going to Slaney Lodge one or two days a week ever since and is so excited every day we take her. She has made many doggie friends as well as human friends with Lisa, Emma and Eve who are just the most caring ladies and look after every need of every dog in their care. The traffic light system so they get plenty of exercise and play with like temperament dogs in grass fields is superb! Joules was even able to go every week through lockdown, which was very important for us as my husband is a key worker and I was in post operative recovery. It was also essential that we could maintain a routine for Joules and continue her socialisation. I highly recommended Slaney Lodge for dog daycare and although Joules has not boarded yet, I would not hesitate to trust her care overnight should we need it. Also, the groomer Debs who has her parlour “Mucky Pups” at Slaney Lodge, is excellent too.

Excellent kennels. All the staff really care for the dogs. The 'traffic light ' system of allowing the dogs to exercise in the paddocks with others of similar temperament is an excellent idea and one we hadn't come across before

OUTSTANDING. We take our 2 black Labradors to Slaney Lodge, and they are so happy to go in and greet the 'family'. One of our Labs is a little nervous and anxious, however, she trots in, tail held high, and greets everyone. Our other Labrador has a skin condition that needs monitoring, and nothing is too much trouble for this lovely caring family. They check him all the time, and if there are any signs of irritation, they make absolutely sure he has his cream rubbed into every necessary area. The dogs comfort along with a lot of love and caring, is their top priority, so when we go to pick them up, they are very happy, clean, relaxed and chilled out dogs. Fabulous and truly deserving of the 5 STARS. We wouldn't take them anywhere else. Alex and Chris
