Lovely place, location, service and my host Clare went above and beyond what i would normally expect. I slept well on their comfy bed and the breakfast was delicious! Definitely will stay again.

Room noisy, cold, thick cobwebs in window. Advertised as en suite bathroom, it was not. Mould in jam at breakfast. Sugar bowl in room had old tea stained sugar in it. Advertised as vegan/veggie friendly, but owner had no clue and despite being warned well in advance no effort whatsoever had been made to accomodate my diet, even cereals were not vegan friendly. Despite only 3 couples staying, and me being the only vegan, on the second morning the owner could not remember what I had been given for breakfast the morning before. Certainly not worth the price charged. Owners have since apologised for our experience and have promised to learn from this. They kindly issued a full refund for which we are very grateful.

Having stayed at Ivy Farm accommodation for a short while working in the local area access is excellent only being 5 mins off the A1 with ample car parking, all local shops, pubs and services are only 5 mins away in Balderton and Newark. The room was clean, tidy, very comfortable and well presented with a en suite bathroom. Would recommend to anyone and will stay again in the future. 5/5

Fantastic few days at Ivy farm whist in the area for work. Clare was very responsive via email before hand and ensured that my late arrival would be ok. Fantastic cooked breakfast in the morning. Secure parking and good wifi!

We stayed 1 night - Sept 2020. Very comfortable, lovely breakfast. Handy if you're travelling on the A1.
